About Scott
Scott Loutsch is a private lesson teacher, clinician, and performer based in the San Antonio area. He teaches piano, horn, baritone, and especially trumpet to students of all ages, with a strong focus on jazz and audition preparation.
His students consistently earn top chair placements in their school programs and local competitions, including the 2023 Region 29 Jazz Competition where the top five placements all studied with him. He has also worked with numerous All-State and Jazz All-State students.
Scott is a freelance musician with over 20 years of experience performing in jazz ensembles, small groups, weddings, and church settings. He holds a degree in Jazz Studies from Texas State University.
